Dear Freedom Church Family or Guest,

We have spent a lot of time in prayer over you and your family as we are in unprecedented times. With the ongoing spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the incredible speed at which things are rapidly changing around us, we are continually adapting the ministry of Freedom Church. It feels like we are building a plane midflight!

Caring for you is our top priority. Our Pastors and staff are working tirelessly to create different ways to serve you best during these uncertain times. I really do believe this can be the church’s finest hour! We will not shrink back, but we will advance. We will choose to walk in faith and not listen to our fears!

With recent restrictions from the CDC and our local government, which is in compliance with the mandate set forth by President Trump, we can longer meet in groups of 10 or more.

This means a few things for us.:

1. All in-person services are suspended, and we’re taking the gospel online.
Effective immediately, all adult, kids and youth services will move online for the time being. We are working hard to rethink how we can make these services interactive, engaging and full of hope and God’s presence.

As you are attending our 9:30am and 11:00am services online, will you please hit the “share” button on Facebook and can you host a watch party and invite your friends? Post a comment and say hello. Let us know that you’re watching. You can even type: “Circle, highlight, underline, smiley face!” when I say something good!

7. Resources.
We want to be the hands and feet of Jesus. If you have any needs, you cannot find toilet paper or even meat, please let us know by emailing us at and we do our best to help you out.

8. Sunday’s Message: I AM THE GOOD SHEPHERD
I can’t think of a better series to find ourselves in this time of uncertainty. This weekend I really believe that God has an encouraging word for you. This is a message that you and all your friends need to hear – especially NOW! Join us this Sunday at one of our online experiences listed above.

And remember, Jennifer and I are praying for you!

Your Pastor,
Benito Fresquez

For the most up-to-date information on COVID-19:

Are there any cases of Coronavirus ( COVID-19 ) In our area?

Yes, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported there were 351 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Travis County and 63 confirmed cases in Williamson County as of noon, April 3, 2020.

Why are DSHS's case counts different from what other sources are reporting?

Other dashboards may be using media reports to gather information about new cases, which may result in some cases being counted more than once.

The Texas Department of State Health Services is tracking cases of the new coronavirus that causes COVID-19. DSHS will update the state case count each day by noon Central Time. Numbers are current as of 8 p.m. the day before reporting.
